Terms of use

1. Purpose and publisher

BDSM Link is a BDSM dating and community platform for Switzerland and its neighbouring regions. It is published by Bdsm-link, Neuchâtel. Contact: support@bdsm-link.ch.

The site puts consenting adults in touch with each other. It is not a party to the meetings that result.

2. Adults only

The site is strictly reserved for people aged 18 and over. You confirm your age at sign-up. If in doubt, we may ask for proof, and suspend or close the account.

3. Account and phone number

The account (username, e-mail address, date of birth, password) lets you, once your e-mail address is confirmed, enter the site and search. To write to other members, your profile must be filled in (role, roles sought, introduction, what you are looking for). After the launch period you must also register a mobile phone number to stay visible; it is simply entered, with no SMS, and our team checks it afterwards.

• A phone number can only be linked to one account.
• The information you provide must be accurate and concern you.
• The account is personal: do not share your access.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for actions taken from your account.

4. Subscription and payment

During the launch period, full access is free (30 days). Afterwards, sending contact requests and replying to them requires a paid subscription. The price, the duration of each plan and the renewal method are shown before payment. Automatic renewal, where it applies (card payment), can be stopped at any time from your account: access then remains active until the end of the period already paid.

Without a subscription your account stays open: you can search, be visible to other members and receive contact requests, but not send or answer them. Free months (referral, goodwill gesture) extend access without payment. Your mandatory statutory rights remain reserved.

5. Prohibited content and behaviour

The following are prohibited, on profiles as well as in messages, events and discussions:

• Any minor, or any person whose appearance or words suggest they may be one, and any content depicting them.
• Illegal content, in particular content that shows or encourages coercion, exploitation or non-consensual acts.
• Prostitution, escorting and any offer or request for paid sexual services.
• Commercial solicitation, advertising, promotional links and spam, including message floods.
• Identity theft, fake profiles and the use of photos that are not yours.
• Publishing data about other people (name, address, number, photos) without their consent.
• Harassment, insults, pressure, hateful or discriminatory remarks.
• Requests for money, scams and any attempt to circumvent verification, moderation or the technical limits of the site.

6. Consent and meetings

Consent, communication and respect for limits are the rule. A first meeting takes preparation: choose a public place, tell someone you trust and take the time to get to know each other. You remain solely responsible for your decisions and your meetings.

7. Your content

You keep your rights over your texts and photos. You only grant us permission to host and display them as part of the service, to the people allowed by your settings. You guarantee that you have the right to publish them. Private photos are only visible to registered members, never to visitors without an account. Explicit content is refused.

8. Moderation and reports

A moderation team reviews reports and checks profiles, photos and texts, before or after publication. It may hide, reject or remove content that does not comply with these terms. Reports are anonymous. Some texts are automatically flagged for moderation (links, contact details, requests for money) without being blocked.

9. Sanctions

Depending on severity, moderation may issue a warning, suspend the account for a fixed period or exclude it permanently, without refund of the current period in case of serious breach. The member is told the reason. You can contest a decision by writing to support@bdsm-link.ch.

Criminal offences, in particular those involving minors, may be reported to the competent authorities.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the settings: your personal data is then erased in line with the privacy policy. We may terminate an account that breaches these terms, or close the service with reasonable notice.

11. Liability

The site is provided as is. Checking the phone number is not an identity check: we guarantee neither the identity, nor the intentions, nor the statements of members. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damage caused by our gross negligence.

12. Changes, applicable law and jurisdiction

We may adapt these terms; important changes will be notified to you. Swiss law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions. The place of jurisdiction is the publisher’s registered office, subject to the same reservation.
